Our digital maps of the North Sea and Atlantic Margins and the Gulf of Mexico are now available online. These online maps offer a simple yet powerful tool brought to your desktop. You can define your map content, choosing the layers of information that you wish to display, zoom into any area and interrogate the map to bring you in-depth information regarding leases or licences, pipelines, platforms and fields. You can choose to either interrogate the map directly, or to use the powerful database facility to search the layers by entering search criteria into drop-down boxes. The results can then be printed off for future reference. These maps are updated every six months bringing you the latest information.
The map is combined with the OPL Gulf of Mexico activities database, acknowledged by the industry as being the most valuable source of reference to international oil and gas exploration and production operations. Users can interrogate Fields, Pipelines, Platforms and Concessions on the map with a mouse click and/or by drawing an geographic area of interest, thus calling up extensive data on the indicated objects. Moreover, users can define alphanumeric search criteria for a number of key attributes in combination with a geographic area of interest, thus preparing search results in parallel with custom defined map views.
