Clarksons have an extensive network of databases maintained in house. The CRS fleet database covers the world cargo fleet of approximately 25,000 vessels over 5,000 Dwt.

Our standard database service provides key fields from our database relevant to Chemical Tankers in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access or ASCII Delimited text format. For the purposes of the Chemical Tanker Fleet Database we define a Chemical or Specialised Tanker as a vessel over 1,000 Dwt which satisfies either of the following criteria:-

• Has a classification I, II or III under the IMO "International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk".
• Is classed as a chemical or specialised tanker by the Classifications Societies.
